Latest Refinery Attack Shows 'Zero Protected Places in the Russian Far Hinterland'

In Russia's frontier area of the Belgorod region, a vehicle operator was fatally wounded by a Ukrainian strike, according to municipal sources.

Electricity Restoration Work in the Capital

Operations carried on on Saturday to restore power in the Ukrainian capital, after assaults.

Electricity had been restored to over 800,000 citizens by the weekend and the largest power firm announced the primary efforts to recover electricity was concluded though partial blackouts continued.

Air Defence Actions and Drone Interceptions

The Ukrainian defense forces downed or disrupted 54 of 78 total UAVs from Russia deployed towards the country during the night, the aerial defense command said on Saturday.

Russia's defence ministry stated it eliminated 42 UAVs from Ukraine over Russian territory.

Cuban Government Rejects Accusations of Providing Forces to the War

Havana on Saturday denied US allegations it has deployed military personnel to engage in the hostilities, while stating Cuban authorities "do not have exact data about Cuban nationals" involved "on their own" or "within the troops of either party".
